Ms. Yeon Hee Baek's Message

I began as a volunteer daycare intern and teacher’s assistant at Little Smiling Face Daycare Center while studying Early Childhood Education in college. Teaching at TYS provided a great opportunity to understand and learn about the Reggio Emilia approach, a child-centered method that empowers children to explore, create, and lead their own learning journeys using loose parts (natural materials).

I am a creative and energetic person who loves working with children and being a part of their learning and growth. I believe that children are natural learners, and my vision is to encourage them to express themselves through various forms of communication and creative languages.

Ms. Brenda Garcia's Message

With 10 years of dedicated experience in education, I have had the privilege of shaping young minds in various settings. My journey began as a tutor, supporting elementary students across multiple subjects, and continued as a Kindergarten teacher, where I developed expertise in early childhood education, classroom management, and student engagement.

I am deeply committed to fostering the academic and social growth of my students, ensuring they are well- prepared for the next stages of their educational journey.

Ms. Seung Lim Kang's Message

After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education, I taught children at a Montessori preschool for four years, and I have been serving at Philippi Christian Preschool for seven years. Currently, I am working as the Lead Teacher for 2- and 3-year-olds. Early childhood is a critical period for character development, where children learn to be considerate, respectful of others, and develop the ability to live cooperatively.

As a teacher, I will respect each child’s individuality and diversity and help them grow into children who are considerate and warm-hearted toward others. Additionally, I will strive to be a teacher who always listens to the children, sometimes as a friend and other times as a mother, so they can learn to live most happily in God’s embrace and safely nurture their big dreams for the future.

Ms. Meeyoung Cha's Message

I majored in Special Education during both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I worked as a special education teacher in an elementary school for five years and as a play therapist and speech therapist at a child development center for two years. After getting married and leaving the education field to raise my three children, I remained deeply interested in education, serving as a teacher in both church school and Korean language school.

As I watched my children grow into independent adults, my passion for returning to the field of education grew stronger. I am truly grateful to now work as a teacher at Philippi Christian Preschool, where I can provide education rooted in the Gospel and tailored to the needs of each child for the next generation.

I aspire to be a teacher who helps these precious children called to be the light and salt of the world learn to serve others, develop their talents, and build a foundation for a life filled with joy and gratitude.

Ms. Ji Young Lee's Message

Serving in the infant and toddler ministry at church for 12 years has made my time with children both rewarding and joyful, and I came to realize that working with them is my calling. This calling became my profession, and for the past 10 years, I have worked as a fully qualified teacher.

Though there are times when it is challenging and difficult, the greater sense of fulfillment and joy I find in being with the children fills me with gratitude and makes my work enjoyable every day. I am thankful to God for entrusting me with these precious children and this mission.

Every day, I pray that these children will live as God’s children, and as a teacher who loves them like a mother, playing and laughing with them, I do my best to create a happy and fun classroom.

Ms. Hye Young Park's Message

I have met many people while working at an airline, always approaching them with a smile and kindness. Through listening to and empathizing with others, I built trust and experience, which taught me how to connect with children.

The energy and innocence I feel when being with children also become my source of strength. Based on God’s love, I aim to love the children and teach them, helping them grow into happy children with warm hearts. I strive to become a teacher who continues to grow and develop, dedicated to this mission.

Ms. Ji Yeon Lee's Message

My educational goal is to support our 2-year-olds, who are experiencing their first social interactions, in safely and securely adjusting to preschool life. Through various play activities, I aim to promote balanced development in both cognitive and social skills while helping them build self-care habits that will guide them toward becoming independent.

With a background in Fine Art, I have taught art to children of different ages for many years. Drawing from this experience, I strive to create fresh and engaging lessons that spark curiosity and expand their imaginative world, while communicating at their level.

Additionally, through daily worship, I seek to nurture their faith and help them develop a strong emotional foundation.

Sometimes it’s nice to put in text just to get an idea of how text will fill in a space on your website.

Traditionally our industry has used Lorem Ipsum, which is placeholder text written in Latin. Unfortunately, not everyone is familiar with Lorem Ipsum and that can lead to confusion. I can’t tell you how many times clients have asked me why their website is in another language!
