About Us

Our Mission

We at the Church of Philippi believe that each child is a child of God and should be provided every opportunity to develop spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially to his fullest potential. To that end, we have established Philippi Christian Preschool, a ministry of caring for children in a setting that is an extension of the Church.

PCP will provide a program to live out the message of God’s love as expressed through Jesus Christ. Christian values such as love of God and respect for others will be integral to the curriculum. A high-quality program will support the child’s holistic development while strengthening the family and society.

Secondly, PCP seeks to provide an environment where parents can feel comfortable and secure leaving their children, knowing they will receive excellent care in their home away from home.

Thirdly, PCP seeks to provide opportunities for children to grow and develop through exploration and experimentation with various learning materials and activities that are stimulating, age-appropriate, and enhance spiritual, social-emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
