SNACKS AND LUNCH

Classes will be served a nutritious snack with milk and water daily.

Every day, a certified cook prepares Korean food directly in the cafeteria, providing a healthy and balanced lunch menu.

● Children who do  not order lunch bring their own lunch from home. (Since we cannot heat individual lunches, please send warm foods in a thermos.)

● Snacks and Milk are provided by the school. The snack menu will be posted on the school bulletin board along with the lunch menu.

● PCP does not allow children to eat candy at lunch.

● Children are not permitted to use a “sippy” cup, except closed water bottles, for outside activities. We provide small cups for children to drink from the water dispensers in the school.

● We are not able to heat lunch items. (Please send warm food in the thermos.)

● Due to the increasing number of children with allergies, PCP enforces a Nut-Free Zone. Snacks and food containing nuts are not allowed in the classroom and should not be included in your child’s meals. (This includes peanut butter, peanut cookies, Nutella, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, chestnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, pistachios, walnuts, etc.) If there are no children with nut allergies in the class, peanut alternatives may be sent in your child’s lunch. (e.g., sunflower seed butter, Wowbutter)
